Setting up Editing Styles 2: Hybrid
If your template doesn't have its own dedicated typography style-sheet and the thought of creating your own typo or editor.css files is overwelming, you can opt to use the editor's own typography style and customise it! This means that you can still get great results without having to really know CSS and take your editing experience to another level. As the editor comes setup to do this right out-of-the-box and is packed with loads of cool icons, styles and toptips, most of the work is already done.
You can opt for this setup:
- By selecting your websites template from the “Select your default template:” list;
- Next “Select your style-sheet for the Editing Area:”. This should be the style-sheet containing your templates: body tag, H headers, formats and etc…. (usually called template.css).
- For the "Use the JCK typography style-sheet" select 'Yes'.
- And lastly from the “Styles Dropdown” parameters select the 'None'. (This will disable all other styles from being populated in the ‘Style’ dropdown box other than the editor's "JCK typography" style-sheet).
