I've had an issue with a website that I'm creating, that uses the JomSocial platform. When ARK is enabled, it causes anchor links not to work and once disabled they being working again.

I've been advised by Support at JomSocial that the issue is with the following code in ARK.

jQuery(document).ready(function() {
    if(typeof CKEDITOR !== "undefined")
    {
        jQuery("a[href='#']").on( 'click', function(e){
          e.preventDefault();
        });
    }
});

Hi Matthew Lee,

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately the inline editor doesn't work with all third party components but it is possible to add inline support to your extensions. We have exhaustive documentation, on how to do that, here: http://arkextensions.com/products/ark-inline-framework.

Alternatively, you can disable inline editing for the JomSocial component. To do this: Go to 'Components' > 'Ark Editor' > click on the 'Options' tab > select the 'Inline' tab > click on 'JomSocial' in the 'Enable Components' field, to remove it from the list of components that inline editing is enabled in and save.

Another option you have is to disable auto inline editing and just enable it on the pages that you wish to inline edit. To do this, again, go to 'Components' > 'Ark Editor' > click on the 'Options' tab > under the 'Inline' tab > set '' to 'Yes' and save.

I hope this helps.

Kindest Regards,

Louisa
