The media button doesn't display in the toolbar.  Everything is set up correctly but it still doesn't display in the tool bar.

Hi Fightingwolf,

Thank you for your post.

Are you refering to the inline editing toolbar? The 'Add Media' button does not appear in the inline toolbar because it is an Editor-xtd button and these cannot be displayed in the inline toolbar.

If it is not appearing in regular frontend editing or in the backend administrator, it could be that it is not published. To publish it: Go to 'Extensions' > 'Plugins' > filter for 'editors-xtd' and enable the 'Add Media' button.

I hope this helps.

Kindest Regards,

Louisa

I followed these instructions:

If it is not appearing in regular frontend editing or in the backend administrator, it could be that it is not published. To publish it: Go to 'Extensions' > 'Plugins' > filter for 'editors-xtd' and enable the 'Add Media' button.

When I got to the Editors-xtd there was no Add media button. Located there.  Is this feature only available in the paid version?  I'm currently testing out the free version

Hi Fightingwolf,

Thank you for your reply.

The Add Media button is available in the free version of the editor.  The plugin that needs to be enabled for the 'Add Media' button to appear, is the 'Button - Ark Media' plugin.  I apologise for my mistake, in the previous instructions.

Kindest Regards,

Louisa
