This bug has occured after update to Joomla 3.5.1 and to ARK editor 1.8.4. The combination of 3.5.1 and ark editor 1.7.7 works as expected: the ARK media manager is opened.

Reason is definitly ARK 1.8.4: we have updated everthing to the latest version (JEvents,Kunena, ARK German language file, a.s.f.) and everything was ok. First with the update to ARK editor 1.8.4 we have this bad result. The following update of the ARK media manager has not changed anything.

Custom Fields
Server type
Linux
Web server type
Apache
ARK product version
1.8.4
Joomla! version
3.5.1
PHP Version
5.6.22
Web browser
Firefox
Errors log

Steps to replicate the issue
- write an article - insert an image via media button (below the editor window) - store the article - re-open the article and double click on the image: the jooomla standard media manager comes up, but not the ARK media manager.

Hi hrybak ,

Thanks for reporting this.

If you’ve jumpped up a few versions during your Joomla upgrade you may need to uninstall and reinstall the editor as older versions of the editor had some legacy stuff which isn’t compatible with the latest versions of the editor. I think anything older than version 1.7.5 needs to be reinstalled.

Can you let us know how you get on?

Thanks,

Paul

After deinstallation of all existing ARK components and their reinstallation, the issue still exists.

Hi hrybak,

We are looking into this issue to resolve it. However, in the mean time if you disable the Arkeditor ARK Media Button plugin for the editor this should resolve the issue for you.

Kindest Regards,

Andrew

Thanks a lot for your hint. After disabling the Arkmediabutton plugin via Arkeditor Plugin Manager, it works as expected.

Best Regards

Heinz
