When I insert Bootstrap tabs, through the "Templates", I can't switch tabs in the "Design", in the "back" and in the "front" (as it is possible in the frontend inline editing): in this case, when I press any of the "non-active tabs", nothing happens, and only the "active tab" content can be edited . Consequently, I can't change the "non-active tabs" content, unless I do it "manually", through the "Source".

Is there a way this can be fixed?

Many thanks,

James

Hi James,

This is because while editing inline in your template the bootstraps JavaScript is activated. While in the editors WYSIWYG modes ("Design", in the "back" and in the "front") it is simulating what is happening in your templates so it has limitations.

We are soon to launch a new extension called Ark Widget. The first release will be to allow bootstrap snippets which you can insert into your template but the end goal of this project is to allow the editor to actually edit and manipulate the bootstrap code "inline" in your  template.

I hope that helps,

Paul Franklin
