ContentBuilder allows both an administrator email and an email to the user to be sent  upon a form submission.

The administrator email address is a non-variable address, while the user email address is taken from a named field in the form in this fashion:  {email}

During the creation of the form template in the Joomla backend, auto-publishing of the form contents can be turned on or off at the designer's choice.  When the auto-publish is turned on, both the administrative email and the user email is sent with no problems.  However, if the auto-publish is turned off, the user email, which is derived from the form field, is not sent.

Hi Wilburg,

I don't see how this is specifically related to the editor. The editor allows you to add HTML and edit it. That is all. It has no functionality in regard to sending emails or publishing. If Emails are sent in one case when the auto-publish option is set, this suggest that whatever is determing and handling sending out emails is the place of fault.

I would suggest placing a ticket with the developers of ContentBuilder and see what they have to say.

Kindest Regards,

Andrew
