Based on bug ticket:
#23 – Issue with: System - Reset SEF Base plugin

Sorry i forget this ticket. But still have the problem.

Thanks for your answer!

If i understand correctly i could do 2 options?
1. use 'javascript:void(0)' instead of '#'
   Joomla does not accept that as an value

2. Using this jquery:
jQuery("a[href='#']").on( 'click', function(e){
    e.preventDefault();
});
I added this code to my index.php from my template in the head:
<script>
        jQuery("a[href='#']").on( 'click', function(e){
    e.preventDefault();
});</script>

As far as i know a good responsive menu needs an parent without clickable item and a sumenu for tablets.
Or if you can tell me a better solution i like to know.

If an tablet user clicks on a link i think it goes to that page and if there is no submenu shown in the sidebar it is really difficult to go to a subpage.
I had this a while ago on android phones. But maybe this is already old thinking.

But if a function in Joomla that is used allot of times does not work it is not a good solution.

Thanging relative links to fixed links is also not a good solution :-)

So i really hope that it is possible to create a good solution.

And i think there is one that you guys will figure out :-)

Steps to replicate the issue
- Create an menu item with system link as # - Go to submenu - Click on the new menu item with the # link and it goes to home instead of staying on the page.
