#81 – Dissapearing Read more links

When logged in to the front end with ARK editor(disabled or enabled) the read more link on blogs dissapears.

Steps to replicate the issue
Create blog with read more link, view blog in frontend when logged in, the readmore link has dissapeared.

Hi Joris,

Thank you for your post.

The readmore tag in inline editing only works on the expected behaviour however if a third party template framework is overriding and manipulating how Joomla's readmore tag works, then the output of the readmore tag may not work in inline editing mode. Though we can't promise to fix every permutation, would you kindly let us know which template framwework you are using?

Hi Louisa,

Thank you for your reply.

We use a custom template build with bootstrap.

It seems like i overlooked something when I noticed this problem though, that is that the disapearing link is generated by a component called Jcomments.

So it may be a compatibility issue between this component and ARK.

If you are willing to look at a resolution for this I would be very grateful.
