Thank you for your ticket.

If you navigate to:

1. Ark Media's configuration page (by clicking the cog icon in the top right of Ark Media or selecting Ark Media in Joomla's global configuration page).
2. Then select the "File Info" tab.
3. The first parameter will be "Maximum Upload Size".

Under this will be a hint telling you your "server limit". This will likely be lower than the filesize of the image you are attempting to upload. You can safely increase the value of this setting up to the limit dictated in the "server limit" hint. e.g. if the value is 8 (MB) and the server limit is 50 (MB) you can increase the value up to 50.

If you are already at full capacity and require more, please hover over the info "i" icon next to server limit. This will give you a breakdown of 3 server configuration values. Each of these 3 values will need to be increased to equal or exceed the size of the files you are uploading. Unless you are managing your server/hosting environment yourself you will need to contact your hosting provider to increase these values for you. Once they have done this, you should be able to successfully upload you files again!

Thanks for your response. I actually have checked that area. I had it set tp 64 mb and changed it to 50 just in case. The files still will not upload. Also, we have a triangle with an ! inside of it insetead of thumbnail images.

We had a work around in place with a php.ini file in the admin area, but it keeps failing.

Thank you for adding your site details. I have looked into your configuration and can see that there is a slight config issue still that is preventing the upload. I have attached a screenshot which shows that your server is currently configured to support up to 2MB which is pretty tiny. Also, there are 3 server config settings that need updating in order to have successful uploads. When you hover over the "i" icon Ark Media gives you a breakdown of the 3 separate values. These must all be above your desired file sizes.

There are a number of reasons why your PHP ini settings keep changing, so you may need to discuss this with your hosting provider. Some points to look out for would be:

• PHP version upgrades,
• Re-installing Joomla/backup,
• Other security extensions such as Admin Tools.

You may also want to do this on a server/account level rather that a sub php.ini file in the admin, to see if those settings are preserved.

The same issue is happening with your file previews, most of them were working when I checked, however, the few that weren't were very large files. This may also be resolved by updating the above server configuration values.

I've checked your system and uploads were working correctly, your upload settings are also nice and high as well. The basic version of Ark Media doesn't have the instant uploads so you wouldn't have seen an error anyway because the page refreshes after the upload.

Could you confirm that you are still experiencing the issue and also have provided the correct site details, also which version of Ark Media you have the issue with (basic or pro).

Could you update the credentials in your site details tab to one of your site's that is experiencing the issue and we'll take a look.

I solved my problem. It was about memory-limit... In System/Info Systeme in php infos tab.

I created php.ini file with good memory-limit and I insert it on adminsitratoe folder !

I have the same problem with message Unable to apload this file. Ths file is too large. The memory-size is ok, I put php.ini with memory-size is ok, I bought last version ARk Media Manager Pro, but the problem is not resolved...

I have updated the Ark Media version on your site which included a more comprehensive upload-limit-feedback feature. There are 3 settings that need configuring and it appears one of your settings is still set to zero. See the attached screenshot of your settings.
